lewisriverfisherman Posted October 7, 2019 Share Posted October 7, 2019 Yes it will grow sps. I have a 20 gal nuvo, I didnt feel that 1 of these was not quite enough to cover the whole tank for sps. lewisriverfisherman Posted October 9, 2019 Share Posted October 9, 2019 UV 65 Violet 116 RBlue 122 Blue 111 R 3 G 6 White 45 With these numbers I was getting Top of the water 920 par 4" Down 300 Front and center sandbed 185 And the corners of my tank were about 65. As you can see the par dropped of alot on the corners of my tank so that is why I needed 2 of these lights or similar so I could get over 100 par in the corners. Richard972 Posted October 16, 2019 Author Share Posted October 16, 2019 I ended up putting the prime onto my waterbox 20 running AB+, corals are happy and I'm loving the color in the tank now. Picked up a used hydra 26 for my 29 biocube and running a modified AB+ for Hydra 26s. Being an SPS tank I was worried about changing lights but corals have not missed a beat.
