I also fixed up a 68 C10 long bed for my wife years ago, it was just a body, I took it down to the frame and repair rusted out metal, replaced the suspension, brakes, etc.. then put in a 2001 4.8l LS motor and 4l60e 4 speed trans in it. It was a lot of fun to drive but she decided that it was not really convenient so we ended up selling it. You sir have great taste haha. Wing windows and all. 69 RS/ss is nice with the hidden headlights, but those vacuum pods to make them function suck.
