SuncrestReef
This morning I discovered a 3/4” diameter black plastic disk flowing around in my display tank, and I can’t figure out what it is or where it came from. It’s covered in coralline algae so it’s obviously been in the system for a while. I’ve inspected all the components in my tank and don’t see anything that might be missing something. Here are the only items inside the tank: Neptune WAV Gyre XF230 VCA random flow nozzles Flipper glass cleaner Seaweed clip Any ideas? I’m baffled. Lazyreefer
That definitely looks like the piece off a seaweed clip. Do you have the two little fishes one? I’m pretty sure mine has that and there’s normally a little non in the middle where it looks like that broke off in your picture I’ll look at mine when I get home 2

My clip has a little stem in the center that appears to line up with the dent in the mystery disk. What’s odd is that the clip still holds together without it, so I’m not sure why the disk is needed. Thanks for the clue!
Lazyreefer
Yea mine fell off of mine too and won’t stay on well now so that’s what made me think of it. No need for it though has worked perfectly without it!
SuncrestReef
OK, this confirms it. I cleaned off the coralline and found the Two Little Fishies logo underneath. Mystery solved! Thanks @Lazyreefer

Did you see how much coralline is on that clip??? 😳
