Brought them to show-and-tell as a kid. http://pnwmoths.biol.wwu.edu/photographic-plates/ Moths are cool.

SuncrestReef
Just to keep the Silence of the Lambs theme going, I spotted this one on my window today. My macro lens isn't just for corals you know! Not as colorful as the Deceptive Sallow Moth above, but pretty hairy: (and I need to clean my window screens)
Newreefer02
This guy is currently hanging out on my front porch... He has some wicked feathery horns! Over all I would say 3-4 inches long 2.5-3 inches tall...Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
SuncrestReef
That’s one of the things I like about many moth photos...it’s easy to gauge the relative size of the moth when they’re on window screens since most screens have a standard mesh size. My moth above spanned about 10 squares, but yours covered at least 50 squares. That’s a chunky moth!
