The rad reefer
I have a pair of long fin clowns and I have had a bubble tip in my tank for about a month and they won’t host it. Any ideas on what I can do to encourage them to host it or why they won’t. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Manny Tavan
that's what clownfish do. No reason for it...and not much you can do besides waiting longer
Pennywise
You can put them in an acclimation box together. Another way I have seen people chase them into it kinda scaring them into the nem. Took a few min a day for a few days.
Manny Tavan
I remember someone dropping them into the anemone using a long pvc tube. It's on youtube

milesmiles902
It does look like a bubble tip. I'd accept the fact that they don't always host or pull it out from the corner. Are they hosting in something else?
The rad reefer
There not hosting anything and I had towards the front of the tank but I kind of gave up and rotated the rock back the way I had itSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
milesmiles902
Your fish are clowning around. I like this idea: 4 hours ago, Pennywise said: You can put them in an acclimation box together. I believe it will probably never happen.
