danlu_gt
I will have 2040 3D parts available on my website soon. If you decide to go with this route, make sure your horizontal 2040 is long enough to sit on top of your 2 vertical 2040.
youcallmenny
That's probably fine. The HMS kit isn't exactly stellar. The feet themselves are an 'L' shape instead of a 'U' shape and thus only cover the top and one side respectively. They're constantly drifting away from the glass. Not fun having that much lighting being so insecure. Your designs are obviously much superior.
CrabbyCrabs
It keeps getting better. That is great product improvement.
danlu_gt
Finally, freight have arrived. Good thing I drop tested the box design. One pallet fell over. Fortunately, inner boxes and products are undamaged. Now I have plenty of stocks.Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
danlu_gt
I finally took down the 4 bent conduit pipes as light stands. They look nice with pendant style lights but not ideal for the new ReeFi.Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk

I lost track of where you were at with mounting options - are those adjustable in the horizontal direction to help center over the tank? Seems like a nice alternative to a tank or ceiling mount setup.

I was going to do tank mount but then thinking it was too much hassle to route out square cut outs on my splash guard rim and then it just came to me that I can use wall anchors and mount on the wall. When can I set you up with ReeFi Duo Extremes on your tank? danlu_gt
Dana Riddle have posted some PAR and spread for the ReeFi Duo Extreme."PPFD of Reefi Extreme taken with an Apogee MQ-510 quantum meter. Treat your self to a great light for Christmas. I have data from other depths and will post soon."https://www.facebook.com/groups/ReeFiLove/permalink/417160879207427/https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/interesting-new-led-light.640820/page-10#post-6688000Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
xmas_one
Nice spread on that plot. These lights keep looking better and better! Notice on the pics Daniel posted of his light mounting, light spill outside of the tank is basically non-existent. Makes for a much nicer viewing experience. Well done! My ReeFi’s don’t spill light at all. Perfect illumination for my Reefer XL 425.
danlu_gt
Major firmware v3.0 released with lots of new features and updated UI and over 30KB of new codes. That's almost 50% more codes from v2.xx. Still a few more new features in the pipeline. https://m.facebook.com/groups/365634897693359?view=permalink&id=430185394571642 3

SuncrestReef
I just picked up a new lobo from @CuttleFishandCoral, so I'm trying the ReeFi acclimation mode for the first time. I didn't have this capability on my old Radions controlled by Apex WXM. I set them to 50% and ramp back to normal over 7 days:

albertareef
Sweet! Glad to see these go up at CnC - such nice looking lights. Also helpful to see them side by side with the Radions on the Frag tanks at Seahorse. Worth checking out if you haven’t seen them yet.
