featherblue
just got him yesterday. He's in an old biocube for quarantine. So far he's eating and active. He slept buried in his sand bowl last night. Any wrasse safe med suggestions in case I notice a change in his marks? Gil&Fin
It looks like a bacterial infection to me. It may go away on its own, but it's a pretty big gash. Since he's in quarantine already, I'd probably add Metro to the water (or, even better, mix it with his food with Focus if he'll take it). Metro is pretty gentle. If you want to go all out, you can do a mix of Metro, Kanaplex, and Furan 2 which would cover more types of infection. These medications are pretty easy to use; just follow the directions on the package. Reef2Reef has a Fish Disease Treatment and Disease forum that has some really helpful stickies, too. 1
