wantanewtank
mine is crazy high like around 25 + no matter what I do. Been like that for ever...Recently lowered my nitrates to 25 from 50 using algae scrubber and increased water changesSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
wantanewtank
Good news, just completed my third large water change, and the nitrates now measure only 5. My fingers are crossed that a forth change will finally get me down where I want.Did vacuum your sandbed?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CrazyInside
If you have the room, could try adding a murinepure block. Seem to help out a lot! Edited April 11, 2018 by CrazyInside
Jeremevans
+1 for the marine pure block. Between having the block, chaeto with a grow light (LED) and an oversized skimmer I can basically feed as much as I want and see nitrates rise.
