lewisriverfisherman
Has anybody else watched the movie chasing coral. If so what did you think about the documentary? I am watching it right now.
Taylorhardy1
Its hard to say I enjoyed watching a documentary showing so much death. But it was definitely a well put together, and informative documentary. A few weeks after I watched it I talked with a guy who dives the gbr in Australia quite regularly, and he said that in certain spots all you can see is nothing but coral skeletons, and some fish swimming through, then a few hundred meters later there's sections of the reef just entirely booming and overgrowing itself. I feel as though the movie puts so much emphasis on what's dying in the reefs, it can feel tough to remember that so much is still alive. lewisriverfisherman
I hated to see all those beautiful corals dying. The movie says that there will be no more coral reefs in 25 yrs, I hope like heck I don' see that in my lifetime!!
KeanuReefs
The part when the entire reef turned intense fluorescent colors right before bleaching made me think of some of the colors I’ve seen in ULNS systems. Anyone else think of that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
