Swampy
I have 2 rock flowers that I need to get moved. Is there any reliable way to get them to let go of the rock they are in? I have read using the power head on the will help motivate them to release. Has any one tried this? thanks.
spectra
It can work you can also try ice on there foot to piss them off. I have also got them to release by messing with there foot. Just be careful not to rip there foot......I had one do that and thankfully it pulled through but it was dicey for a few weeks. Good luck! Swampy
Both of their feet are in a good hole in the rocks. No way will I better getting ice on them. Guess I will just have to be patient with then. They both have pretty bad light so I would think they would want to move.
Sasquatch
Move the light and the nem will begin to walk toward the light.. like a light on the side of the tank for a couple or days
Sasquatch
One of mine wanders around cause it’s always in a bad position.. it walks around every other day or week it seems
Swampy
That sounds like a good idea. I have one wander bta right it might be funny if another one wandered also.
RobMBush
The ice the foot method has worked for me with my bubble tip nem that likes to go places I dont want it (Now he has his own island hand hasn't moved for a while). Assuming the biology is similar for the rock flowers
