albertareef
Hey Steve, Not sure if you saw this but Bulk Reef Supply has one of those automatic fleece filtration roller devices on sale. Granted, this one is powered (12 volt) so isn't as full proof as the water powered one you referenced. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/automatic-roller-mat-theiling-1.html

N70SJ
No substrate. I tie them with streatchy plant tie and just let the tips of roots touch the water so I can train the root system to be tall and thickSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TheClark
How are you liking the spin down filter, is it getting allot of detritus?
albertareef
I like the mod chair in there so you can kick back and take it all in. Really nicely thought out and implemented system. Did you get the roller filter setup yet?
N70SJ
No roller filter yet. My piece-of-crap DD Marineland Tank started leaking. Getting a Reef Savvy Tank made. 96x36x24-27. The detritus tank does not catch as much stuff as I thought it would. I think I need some baffles in it to slow water flow.
