Massive hydnophora of death!

I'm assuming that's a ½ gallon bucket? ;)

That's the thing that coral nightmares are made of.

Haha, 5 gallons of death!  May it stay attached to the rockwork, please!

You should see the size of jeff's hollywood stunner.  This guy has a knack at growing coral, particularly huge mean coral!

YES!!!!!

Glad your giving that beast a good run, I hate fragging up colonies like that one just to get rid of it. Keep an eye on it’s deadly growth fingers! ☠️

If you ever want to get a frag back just say the word!

I have frags on top of frags.  Always breaking this thing, every piece that breaks off grows into another colony.  Whole tank is going to be green soon!.

I really do like this coral, and incredibly so far it has done little to no damage.

Whoa - how big across is that thing now?

Good question, I need to measure.

It sure seems allot bigger despite accidental fragging.

Here it is in February:

and now:

Probably the first coral I have grown, that if it dies, I will bleach and keep the skeleton.  I love the structure and color despite its nasty attitude.
