Do you know somebody? Did you just pay for permits? If it was permits, did they charge per coral/clam? The reef trade on the harvesting end has always been a bit of a mystery to me and something that intrigues me greatly. I would love to hear about the details if you wouldn't mind sharing. stylaster Posted November 4, 2016 Author Share Posted November 4, 2016 To bring stuff back i did meet with an exporter in Tonga. I went out a couple days with them to do some collecting. When you ship stuff back you will need export and import permits, fish and wildlife check, citis permit, and they do take note of each piece that is exported and imported.
