Was used in my home for a year and purchased from a friend who had it running for 5 years. Used for a fish only set up. It has been sitting in my garage since I upgraded to a 120 gallon. We used it once for a quarantine tank, but it was a little big for our needs. But if you needed a QT longer term it might work well....
