matt Posted March 6, 2016 Share Posted March 6, 2016 I had a 12x12x12 cube laying around so I decided to turn it in to a planted tank. It started off basic with some java fern and some grass. It stayed like this for 4 or 5 months. I battled huge algae out breaks to where it turned into a solid green cube!! Turned out I had a batch substrate. Once I fixed that issue we decided it was time aquascape it! The girlfriend and I went to pets on Broadway! I really like this store!! We bought a bata, frog some plants and changed the light. I want to add some spider wood, moss and a couple more plants but I like it so far.
