It was a loooong drive from Portland as there was a shooting that occurred on I-5 and traffic was being diverted so it took about 4 hours to get to Tukwila. There was different levels of displays from simple containers to nice set ups. This is a new sponsor of the PNWMAS thanks to Mr.Bret! It was only 20 dollars because the case was broken. The rest were only 30 dollars! I got there late so it was pretty picked over but they still had really nice frags. Definitely should check out their shop in Renton, WA. Still had some nice small beautiful maximas that I would have grabbed if I was going home right away and I had room in my tank. He told a story about a guy who had a fish room but the kids somehow got in there and started dumping random chemicals in his tank. He lost 90% of his corals and was mixing tapwater with salt as he could not make it fast enough. Yikes! You can see our president John Manrow on the back row on the right sporting his PNWMAS t-shirt! Cool T-shirt would like to do this for our own club: Raffle time! They had wet frags and some nice prizes. Cuttlefishandcorals, Goldenbasket and Barrier Reef participated from our local sponsors. I won a 25 dollar gift certificate! That's me and Sirena! We had a good time. Sorry I didn't get more pictures of other PNWMAS members but I got there late. Kknight, Jeff from Cuttlefish, Badxgillen, Miles, Stylaster, John , Gumby were many of the people I saw there. It was nice to see so many PNWMAS represent! Flashy Fins Posted February 23, 2016 Share Posted February 23, 2016 Great seeing everyone! By my count, there were at least 10 of us from the club at the event. There was a PNWMAS flyer in the bag everyone got, so hopefully we'll see a few new members joining this week. It was quite a crowd! I did pretty well in the dry goods raffle, winning 3 different prizes from a single sheet of raffle tickets. Guess the universe took some pity on me after all the tank trouble I've had lately! Didn't win a Cuttlefish gift certificate, but it was pretty funny watching 3 out of 4 of those prizes go to club members.
