Willz Posted January 24, 2016 Share Posted January 24, 2016 I have an asm g3 with the Sedra 9000 pump with the gate mod, but will this be enough skimming for a 180g tank? Bare bottom tank, 40g sump, refugium. Will be an sps dominant tank, with a blue hippo, sailfin tang, volitan lion and the possibility of a naso in the near future. All fish are about 4". PowderBlue Posted January 24, 2016 Share Posted January 24, 2016 Shouldn't be a problem, they are rated for like 250 so I'd say 180 would be alright. It'll depend on your bio load and how Ean you keep the tank. It's not "too small" but it's not greatly over sized either.
