As of March 2017, thread has moved!  Please follow to the new one...

We have an Apogee Quantum Meter for testing PAR of lighting. We also have a very nice Multimeter for testing electrical current.

These meters are available to PNWMAS Club Members only. There is a $50 cash deposit for use of the meters, that will be refunded upon return of the meters.

The loan is for 7 days.

If the meters are lost or broken, replacement will be necessary at the cost of $379.99 for the PAR Meter, $179.99 for the Muti-Tester.

I am currently keeping the meters at my home in Sherwood, Oregon. If you are interested in borrowing either of the meters, please post in this thread, and then we can make arrangements for pickup and return.

Please remember to shut off the PAR Meter when not in use, as it does not turn off automatically, and the battery will drain. The 9V Lithium Battery (CR2325) is available through Radio Shack. The Fluke 115 Multi-Tester also need to be turned off manually.

We now have a Multimeter for testing electrical current, and an Apogee Quantum Meter for testing PAR of lighting.

All equipment is available for loan to paid PNWMAS Members. Equipment can be very expensive, and a deposit is asked, which is fully refundable on return of borrowed equipment. All meter are in good working condition at this time. I have downloaded and printed Operating Manuals for both meters.

If anyone in Vancouver will have it in the future let me know. Actually I would love to just borrow you as well since I have no idea what I would want my par to even be. I get the general idea of the par numbers but still somewhat lost.
