So a rescape began and this is what I came up with. I'm semi please actually. We will see how it goes. My orange monti is turning a little white kinda like bleaching. I turned down my intensity a few percent. SPS have been a little weird lately and I have had some brownish algae growing on the sand bed as well as some clearish stuff growing on a frag plug. It took me 3 months to get mine to where i was satisfied and i spent a week tweaking it before my tank was even up! bowen1022 Posted May 16, 2016 Author Share Posted May 16, 2016 Just an update! Finally back to my tank, I have been trying to dial in dosing with my fiance while I have been gone. Does anyone have any tips on how to dial it in pretty easily? Ive started with 2ml and have been working my way up after testing. Maybe thats the only way Im not sure. Im trying to maintain Alk at 9 dKH as well as Ca at 430 ppm. In other news my Juggernaut Zoa sprouted a baby so that is pretty exciting but Im not getting very much PE with my Unknown as well as the sarmentsoa. Thanks for any help! I had all my tanks drop too low.. oh and the Nuvo 10 is cycling. Just need to get a light for it right now just have a pro-life mini on it. I think he was sick :/ -Made some new dosing containers from VOSS water bottles. They are pretty nice! (and free) -Made some adjustments to my dosing pump as the tubes would run dry after a few weeks even though there was plenty of solution in the dosing containers -Diluted my BRS 2 Part. I heard it is easier to make precise if it is 50/50 -ASD Live Sale Coral Order (7 New Pieces) -For some reason my Juggernaut Zoas haven't been fully open (if open at all) since I changed my scape. I moved them to a different spot as well as backed off my lighting Here is my lighting schedule (More of a reference for me but if anyone has any suggestions please do share!!) 2 Hr Ramp Up 10:00am-5:00pm UV: 50% V: 85% DB: 85% B: 85% R: 15% G: 15% W: 15% 2 Hr Ramp Down 5% Violet, DB, Blue till 12:00am Will probably post some photos up tonight Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
