BoringDave
Since the skimmer uses reclaimed air to create the bubbles how would it oxygenate the water like a traditional skimmer? I have an added a hose to my skimmer so it can suck fresh air from outside the stand. It seams to help with PH and cloudy water. I have even noticed a difference if I open the windows in y house vs using my A/C in the summer.
Reefmania
John, It was great talking with you as well last night! I learned a lot from you about pnwmas, the saltwater industry and who some of the important industry people are in the region! I am looking forward to meeting you and other pnwmas members at the show. It's always fun talking with people that have been in the saltwater industry as long as I have. This is very exciting joining the society and putting on this event December 6th at Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, WA. My protein skimmer makes people scratch their heads as to how it works & I love that! LOL I hope to see a lot of members at the show. Reefmania
Angler, you have an interesting question! The term Oxygenate is misleading. All other current protein skimmer designs draw into the water whatever is in the air of the room the aquarium is in. This includes carbon dioxide, dust, pollen, & in some cases perfumes, air fresheners & cigarette smoke. The owner of sierra Fish & Pets once told me a customer was having health problems with his saltwater aquarium and he thought it may be caused by something in the room air being drawn into his tank through the protein skimmer? The PRO-TEIN CLEAN TouchLess Plug & Play protein skimmer recirculates the same air over & over so not only is it completely silent with No Sucking sounds or sewage odors, it does NOT introduce new contamination continuously into your aquarium like all other models. In fact for the first time ever you can specifically control what air is recirculated by adding what you want such as pure oxygen or carbon dioxide. Aquarium Paradise store in Lakewood saturates a display tank with carbon dioxide because its a soft & hard coral only tank. You can simply detach the rubber tube at top and connect it to your source of preferred air type and it will draw it into the water pump and into the collection chamber where after you reattach the rubber tube will recirculate over & over. fishboys
That was Boring Dave who posed that last question. If you look closer at our names you will see what I am talking about. Any who, did I miss as to what the price point will be? If not when will the price point be made available. I am hoping its before your showing. Again, good luck

StayPuff
I was wondering the same thing you know a silent auction is a killer because those with the deep pockets who always want the best of everything will win but that doesnt count for the normal every day type person Does look like a nice system so who got one and how about reviews
coloredup
Please do not take this wrong I just don't understand the benefits of a reusing the air. I understand it helps with not having to adjust the skimmer. If I am wrong please let me know but a skimmer helps drive off CO2 and add oxygen both of which are beneficial for a reef aquarium. I think since this a novel design that you should have a video of it being used as a skimmer for a fully loaded reef aquarium. I am not trying to be negative but if the air is being recirculated then an additional source for oxygenating the water will be needed. Without data (at least I have not seen any) to back up your claims I would not trust using this skimmer without some other way to oxygenate the water. If that is the case then I think you should state that. Also if you add pure oxygen or some other gas to the skimmer it will not stay pure because it will eventually become a mixture of the dissolved gases in the aquarium water. I think there are some kind of concentrate gradient law(s) that would show that. I am not trying to be negative but you want people to silent bid on the skimmer but you really have not presented useful data to convince me to buy one. Just my 02:)

Just my 02:) Nice post I don't think anyone would be personal giving there 2 cents or having questions I know setting up a 4000 dollar system I [language filter] sure would want data LOL That's why I was wondering who got one and what they paid and how its working id like to see someone run it for a year or two before I got into something like that. Not only that I did something like this in another sport I wont get into it or what it was because I cant but if something new does come out big time makers with Factories can pump these out like candy and drive prices down big time. But I would think a lot of test's would need to be done and for me when I see someone pumping something out so big and then don't come back to say what they sold for or how there running to me personally is odd but like your post I don't mean no hard either please forgive me I always ask whats on my mind or say just a habbit and I do mean with the best respect as well I do love knew things for sure that are proven and researched
