Ninjabeaver
Lately I have noticed my ato pump doesn't work at times...the float valve is clean. I can usually reset controller by unplugging and plugging back in. Tonight I notice it hasn't been running and I look and sure enough hasn't been working for about half the day. I do a reset and all I hear is a single beep. Nothing in the manual says anything about beeps. Anyone know what it means? My guess is the pump gave out. The 3152 is small for a 75 plus my sump so perhaps wore the motor out from running too often? kireek
I have a 5017 and if I remember correctly the unit will run a self check when it is plugged in. I can try to dig up my directions if no else chimes in.
Ninjabeaver
Its looking like the pump failed...Still haven't confirmed. I believe the pump is under warranty still...I couldn't find anything on the .pdf I downloaded for the 3152.
icepikbiker
I use an aqualifter pump for my ATO, cheap and I don't have to worry about it running dry.
kireek
Well let us know what you find out if you send it back.According to my models manual a "acoustic signal" sound could also indicate a defective sensor or controller.
Ninjabeaver
I got in contact with the Tunze repair guy...he wants to test all the components and says the 3152 can't do any beeps because it has no speaker. I sent it all off tonight...it should be under warranty Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
