Blue Z Reef
I use an AquaticLife reg, was reasonable and has been going well for over a year now. Found many others using the same one with success. Something to look into.
Jorge
Get with "wannareef" if you want a solid regulator. A little spendy but worth it! No experience on that particular one though.
Higher Thinking
I use the older Aquatek regulator for a planted freshwater, but I swapped out the needle valve and solenoid for better ones. I definitely think the unit is worth buying even if you don't upgrade the components. Just read up on End of Tank Dump from using single stage regulators. Depending on the size of reactor you are using, this may not be a huge issue. Edited August 10, 2015 by Higher Thinking
wanareef
Looking at it real quick, I think it's a single stage regulator and not a dual stage http://www.barrreport.com/forum/barr-report/co2-enrichment/6653-dual-stage-regulators?s=f96164be06808f416a1a08c3a33fe866 post #2 long read Good luck
Zwickm
Thanks for the good information! Regarding the end of tank dump, if I just make sure the tanks doesn't fully empty before refilling, sounds like I shouldn't have that problem? Maybe that's overly optimistic to assume I'll do I'll probably give this one a shot.
