Experience using Aquatek co2 regulator?

I use the older Aquatek regulator for a planted freshwater, but I swapped out the needle valve and solenoid for better ones. I definitely think the unit is worth buying even if you don't upgrade the components.

Just read up on End of Tank Dump from using single stage regulators. Depending on the size of reactor you are using, this may not be a huge issue.

Thanks for the good information! Regarding the end of tank dump, if I just make sure the tanks doesn't fully empty before refilling, sounds like I shouldn't have that problem? Maybe that's overly optimistic to assume I'll do :)

I'll probably give this one a shot.

Ok here is what I'm going with....

Aquamaxx Star S1 calcium reactor

Aquatek premium co2 regulator w/ solenoid

5lbs aluminum co2 tanks

ARM Course Aragonite media

I'll use my Apex pH probe to control it. Wish me luck! 2 part has just not been working as well for me.
