BoringDave Posted June 6, 2015 Share Posted June 6, 2015 I had one, never used it with actual fish in the tank. It did have great color and the build quality A+. I had planed on a fowlr tank then to up grade later to reef. But decided to sell it and just go with a light I could program as needed. I did like the fact they were water resistant if dropped in the tank. But didn't like the plastic slider bar mounts for a rimless tank. I like the current wire mounts better. For only 35w it was plenty bright on a 21" deep tank. I know they are your competitors. If it wasn't a fowlr I wouldn't go this route but figured at half price it might be worth the gamble.
