badxgillen
It will be quite a setup in the end having over 8 feet of tank to work with. Always seems to be a long process with the big tanks, I waited 6 months before adding any fish to mine but nothing good happens fast in this hobby. I look forward to seeing the methods of nutrient export, sump filtration, and that skimz in action on this tank.

ssappington
Taking it slow, but having a great time! Stand is done, painted with Kilz (there will be a cabinet quality skin over the base stand, and a hood) Plumbing is also done, and works great!

Emerald525
You are wise to take it slow. It's easier to fix things now then when you have a tank full of water and corals. Looks great so far!

ssappington
Got rock! The left is 50# of pukani, the right is 100# of reef saver... I was intrigued by the size comparison- not there is as much pukani as the reef saver and it weighs half as much! pukani is nicer looking , too-
Emerald525
Nice comparison. I have always liked the look of the pukani .

ssappington
Well, ended up being a busy summer, and the tank took a back seat to other projects, but, was able to get it finished, late fall- it's pretty much a wrap, with some corals and livestock progressing nicely!
