There are : things that affect exposure. ISO, Shutter speed, and aperture (f stop) If your going to increase your f stop either your ISO or your shutter soled needs to compensate. The ISO would go up, the shutter speed would go down. IMO max out your ISO for good looking images (based on your camera sensor) and then drop shutter speed.
