impur
Well apparently she learned her lesson in 3 days and they let her go. Being rich now makes you above the law in this country apparently. I love that last weekend she was at the MTV music awards, then at after parties. Next day she is in jail, now she has some illness that makes her unable to be in jail??!@?!?!?!?! This is the worst, most disgusting display of the rich being above the law that i've ever seen. I'm just at a loss of words, this country's judicial system is only for the poor and that is horrendous to me. http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=264705>1=7703
biomekanic
Well, you know, DUIs and driving without a license are no big deal. It's not like she was told 4 times that she could go to jail for doing that when she was caught driving without one, she was only told 3 times before they arrested her. As for the wealthy... I think OJ proved that once and for all.
180Brandy
Makes me sick. It seems that crime does pay. Commit a crime do no time.
R-3
I think its pretty cool honestly. I would love to have enough money to do anything I wanted
impur
But you don't, so you would get completely screwed while she is partying in her billion dollar mansion. I guarantee if you did this you would get 90+ days in jail. And it wouldn't be a special jail like she had, it would be pound you in the *** prison. I wonder what the "illness" she has is? Withdrawls from coke shouldn't be an illness you get out of jail for (laugh)
Nyles
no you would not.... LOL... Sad thing is I know two people that have done what she did, one multiple times and they have both gotten off easier, not sticking up for her, she needs a little look at the real world every once in a while. impur
I had a buddy get a DUII then get caught driving a month or so later. Ended up in jail for 90 days. And that was only ONE offense after the DUII. This little $%^&* did it 3 more times!
Nyles
well hopefully her "dramatic" experience will wake her up... lol

180Brandy
Does this mean she has to have the party at her house now?
impur
Yah, so instead of her drinking and driving it will be all her little friends!
Twitterbait
If i was the guy setting her up with her ankle bracelet i would allow her maybe 10 feet from the receiver...
blown65
I wonder how long it takes before she violates the 40 day sentence of home arrest with the ankle device.

impur
So next time she's drinking and driving and kills a 5 year old, what does she get? A medal? Tax write-offs? This just infuriates me if you didn't notice.

The folly of the rich would just be another sideshow, except it is usually at the expense of others.(popcorn)

acrylics
Apparently the city attorney is claiming that the Sheriff may be in contempt by releasing her. The sentencing judge did not order her release. She has to appear in court Friday morning at 9am. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070608/ap_en_ce/paris_hilton James

reefhut
She was in a protected area by herself?? Why did they let her out, she has no one to infect? If she had some kind of illness, they would normally take her to a doctor, not send her home. That Sheriff needs to goto jail!!! Oh yeah James (popcorn)
acrylics
throw some of that popcorn on over thisaway IMO the judicial system has a fine line to ride when it comes to celebrities. It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out.
reef165
well thats three times the news got wind of it, how many times was she pulled over and released because of who she is, and by the way who is she? the daughter of a hotel mogel? a dumb blond with a t.v. show that proves her stupidity? or a amiture pornstar? So what realy makes her a celeb.?
