matty Posted October 23, 2014 Share Posted October 23, 2014 A few months ago we rescued sulcata tortoise from a guy on Craigslist, he was housing her in a 29g tank and never let her out. I built her a large house and started her on a proper diet along with giving her uvb and the heat she needs. She has come a long way but we have realized that she will never be compatible with our dogs. Eventually she will need to be outside as she will be 100-150 lbs. Right now she is smaller than a football but will grow. She is very active now, she didn't used to be, and is more comfortable around people. She will come with everything she needs, house, lights, heating bulb, bedding, dishes, temp controller, etc. Pm me with any questions, I figured I would try here first as everyone on the tortoise forums are in other states and craigslist I don't trust for animals.
