From the length of the snout it appears to be a female, but the belly also looks skinny so it might be male... but that could also be if its been gutted. I work at a salmon hatchery and handle 300-400 adult fish a week. When checking sex we do a three point check because the face on some females will have a slightly hooked upper jaw so you can't always go off that feature.
