matty
So I have always wanted one of these but never wanted to take the chance it would never eat and slowly die. I went into SWF today and they had this little guy and the best part was I was able to watch him eat Mysid very readily! After a lengthy acclimation he is cruising the tank picking like crazy at all kinds of weird angles (very cool) and even ate some more mysid for me. Here's to hoping for a long life! P.s I may be selling my clam and zoa's if he turns out to be less than model citizen DOH!

kilmca
very nice fish. glad you got one that is eating, that's the biggest challenge. i had one for a few years with a clam, zoas and other corals. it was a model citizen but i'm sure it's dependent on fish. i kept it well fed so that probably didn't hurt. matty
Thanks for the encouraging words. I hope I have the same experience Calvin. I am actually kinda hoping he eats a ton of the hundreds of feather dusters I have but I know it's a small jump to coral.
kilmca
yeah the one i had ate feather dusters and aptasia. i got the fish specifically to eat the aptasia. this was 8 or so years ago when i started keeping corals and didn't know aptasia were bad. Derbird
Very cool fish (clap) and eating already I have always wanted a butterfly but fear for the safety of my corals. Let us know how the little guy is behaves
