izzypop Posted May 9, 2007 Share Posted May 9, 2007 I have a 1/4 Pacific Coast CL-650 chiller with heater contol plug that is only used one summer hardly at all. Never got that hot in my old house it had AC. I set it up on my frag tank when I moved and never ran much there either. The chiller will act as a heater controller as well. Plug your heater into the provided plug and its built in controller will turn it on when it needs heat and will turn on the chiller side when it needs cold. Pretty cool because you can get rid of that mess of heater probes/controllers and cords when you add this chiller. I'd be willing to trade it for 1/2hp or sell it for $300. Nothing happened just my controller alarm going off warning me to get a bigger chiller then realized I have a 1/4 hp not doing anything so I should sell it. DOH!
