im not really sure what type of metal it is but i think im pretty safe but just to make sure im going to get an eye on it but for the most part it all seems to be doing fine no discoloration in the water but when the wife gets back from visiting family we will take it apart and spray the underneath part of the gumball machine other than that there really isnt any other place but thanks for the heads up on it.

yeah the heat sinks work awesom but im having problem with the water evaporation getting on the leds so im trying to figure out how to stop that so thats in the development right now

You may be able to cut some vent holes in the lid so the water can escape without condencing, you seem to have some DIY skills.

Sounds good to me. Plus if the new amendment goes through you wont even have to worrie about it. All live stock would be free :)

You may want to wait until you see some algea growth in the tank before adding them though. Don't want your critters to starve. They can just wait in the 265 until your bubble gum tank is ready. Still very cool by the way.
