drock59
I have been trying to get anywhere decent macro photos with my simple little camera. The best the I have come up with is using a simple 3x magnifying glass along with my camera. This is what I came up with, let me know what you think. I know they are not the best but I just cant justify the money for a "good" camera.
andy
I'm often wondered about shooting through a magnifying glass but haven't tried it -- your results look really good. Nice pics.

drock59
THanks! I just need to find a place that sells higher power magnifying glasses. All i have been able to find is 3x. Im also fairly confident that I could make the pictures look a bit better if I "played" with them a bit in photoshop.

Theron
THanks! I just need to find a place that sells higher power magnifying glasses. All i have been able to find is 3x. How far away was the lens to the subjects? Theron
drock59
I hadnt thought of that yet, Ill try this weekend. The camera was at a maximum of 7-8" away from subject.
