180 Gallon Reef setup (Everything must go)

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

My son moved home a couple of years ago and I had to pull the tank out to make room. He has moved along but I have decided not to re-install the tank. Rather than leave this stuff in my garage maybe someone else can get some enjoyment.

OK about the rocks!!!!

They are currently in 5 tubs, I will try to measure them by weight with a shipping scale this weekend.

The rock is shown in the picture with the cat (he is not included).

The rest of the rock is fragment stuff that I used in the sump as part of the filter system.

I guarantee the rock to be seriously smelly.

Thanks for looking folks.

Update on sold items

Hello everyone,

AquaC -EV240 with automatic collector and MagDrive 1200 - $200

Light fixture with 3x 250W HQI Metal Halide, 3X 96W Power Compact M80 Magnetic ballasts - $100

This is a six foot custom fixture. It does function as is. The price is super low because the reflectors sort of leave some to be desired. A resourceful DIY'er could really take advantage of this.

75 Gallon glass baffled sump with ported input and outputs - $50 Please note - this has a crack on one end. I cracked it the day I tried to install it (very cranky). It DOES hold water. I sealed it with marine silicone and ran it for 4 years without incident.

Thanks for having a look
