I will be going to the Seattle area in about two weeks and would like to check one out. Do you have any opinion of how well they work for saltwater? barrierreefcf Posted October 17, 2011 Share Posted October 17, 2011 Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, we currently have two in stock. We also have extra LED strips for them. We really like these tanks. Obviously, at ~5 gallons if you want to keep fish you will be limited to tiny species. Otherwise, they are fantastic for corals and small shrimp, crabs, etc. We use three strips for Zoanthids, Anthellia, Star Polyps, and other low/med light corals. I think they would all grow faster and color more if we put five strips on. I am going to set one up at home and use five. I plan to try a couple SPS and see how they do.
