Yellow Tang

Smallest tank I would suggest would be a 75. It really depends on how small of a tang you get though. If it's one of the little baby ones you could probably get away with a 40b for about 6 months or so. Best kept in at least a 6ft tank though. Geez I sound like the tang police....(laugh)

Ah ha on this one I can be of service.

 

I have been doing a lot of reading about housing fish lately and the yellow tang gets up to 8" and depending who you ask, no one ever seems to have the same answer they need between 60 and 100 gallons at their adult size. But as with most fish the bigger the better.
