kristinp36
(waving) I am thinking of getting into the world of Nano SW. I have had FW tanks over the years but nothing for the last 15 years. Currently researching the differences between SW and FW, the challenges, etc. I love the look of SW so any advice would be appreciated. I realy need another expensive hobby! Already into photography. Emerald525
Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of good advice here. That's great you are doing research before jumping in. It ends up saving you money in the long run. The New Marine Aquarium is a good beginner book. Also photography and the saltwater hobby go hand in hand because we all love seeing pictures of people's tanks!
bswe22
Welcome!!! Great idea about the research. I must say that this hobby is very addicting. My advice is to go as big a tank as you can in the beginning. Nano tanks fill up fast and you will want more room for more corals and fish. ThePremiumAquarium
Welcome!!! This and a few other sites is where I got the majority of my saltwater knowledge when I was getting started. There are also quite a few really great books out there that will help. I agree with Bryan, the bigger you can go the better off you will be and the more you will enjoy the hobby. Stable parameters and lots of room are just a couple of the benefits. Good luck and keep on posting!
