Algae
If you have a dog with a sensative stomach ( corals and fish are sensative) and you just switch foods on the dog' date=' you can no longer clean up the backyard with a shovel and must use a spatula or hose.[/quote'] Think I'll be canceling that dinner at your house, Buddy! ReefSafari
From what I have read on here and other forums in laymans terms it's like dog food. If you have a dog with a sensative stomach ( corals and fish are sensative) and you just switch foods on the dog' date=' you can no longer clean up the backyard with a shovel and must use a spatula or hose. I haven't heard of killing anything other that one guy that experienced zoo's melting, but couln't pin it on the new salt switch. Everything just retracts for awhile until the shock wears off. I just try to ease in the mixture and keep the shock load down.[/quote'] Thats a good way to look at it, I guess I was thinking that only doing a 10% water change that it wouldn't be that much of a drastic change, but then again, I am not dealing with a whole lot of water volume so it might just be pretty drastic change. I think to be on the safe side I am going to take your advise and do 50/50 Instant Ocean/Kent Reef for the next couple of water changes and then do all Kent on the third. Thanks for the tip and advise!!
racefan
I was using the red sea coral pro salt and I'm glad I switched. Plus I can get the kent at the same store I got the other from. I use it & really like it. Are you guys carrying it @ Pet Works? Mike.
