nu2reef-n
Today the same clam released a ton of eggs, or at least that's what they looked like to me. As that was happening the smaller of the two croceas started spewing what I think could only be sperm into the water. My tank water was almost milky, it looked like it was full of micro bubbles. Everything had extreme PE, even the sun corals polyped out. I wasn't able to get any real good pictures of the egg release, but I'll post what I have. I did get a shot of the smaller clam adding to the mix.
Nyles
How are you nitrates when that happens? And how does the skimmer react?
nu2reef-n
So far my water parmeters are fine. The skimmer went nuts. I have a water change planned for today.
Nyles
For fun, do a nitrate test before you do your WC.
