mwheeler
Well I finely got some macroalgae today for my 12 gallon tank. I have had the tank up and running for about 6-7 months now. The only fish I have in it at the moment is a engineer goby that I put in there yesterday. Just finished painting the back. After adding water Had some more of the setup but cant find them at the moment. Today after putting the algae in the tank. Just added some freshwater ghost shrimp today after a fiew hours of acclimating them to saltwater. Gonna see how they do and if they will breed in the tank to feed to the puffer and the lion fish in one of the other tanks.
mwheeler
Well its going on two days and the ghost shrimp(freshwater) that I put in the tank seem to be doing good. I have had a few die off but I was expecting that. There are two females with eggs that are still alive and doing good as well as a whole bunch of smaller ones. I have been feeding them a combination of saltwater flakes and shrimp pellets that I have for the shrimp in my main tank.
CoralCrazy
Good luck. Every fw shrimp we have tried usually die off after 2 weeks.
