KMiller
My new(week and a half old to my tank) clown has a problem :( His lip/jaw/mouth is swollen and looks..weird. any ideas? The only thing I could possibly think of is that when I added him last week he fought with my other clown for a night.. All params are great, and livestock seem fine otherwise. cschwarz
he should be fine. just watch and see if they are still fighting. as long he is eating he should be fine. if they keep fight you will need to choose witch one you want to keep. KMiller
The clown that was fighting with him (my orange one) was banished to the BioCube, so he hasn't been fighting at all for about 5 days Does it look like it could be a sickness? cschwarz
he should be fine. clowns are very hardy fish.as long it keeps eating and is active i would not worry about it.
jgf86123
It's actually very normal for clowns to fight at first, they're just establishing who's dominant. The jaw is usually a very hard hit spot on the clown an it'll be a little swollen for a while, just like yours or mine would be if socked in the jaw. Trautman
if it is brookynella, make sure to treat it quick, that is one of the few diseases that will kill a clown quick. a good way to tell would be if the white/swollen area spreads
jgf86123
I dealt with brooky several months ago, and that looks nothing like what I encountered.
