fpd4308
I am mixing up my first water change with the new aquavitro salinity reef salt. So far it looks good, is packaged well and seems to mix well. It is also taking less salt to get to 1.025. I have been wanting to try this salt out since I first heard about it. I have heard nothing but good things about the params when mixed. I will keep you all informed. Doug

fpd4308
So here it is. I mixed 4 gallons of water with 2 cups of salt. It should be noted I used API test kits which aren't everyones favorites but they have worked pretty accurately for me and I don't test very often so I don't waste a lot an expensive test kits Salinity 1.026 Ca 440 dKH 11 Ph 8.4 Mag 1250 Those are almost perfect for me because that is about where I like to keep my params. fpd4308
I also noted that after the water change none of my corals had any temporary polyp retraction or sliming as the sometimes have done with other salt mixes
