ClayTheSavageFraser
So my temps went up even with my aqua logic chiller with a coil inserted. I checked the chiller and it wasn't cold. So I pulled the cover off and it was frozen on one of the sections. Why would this happen and how do I fix it? ReeFit
sounds like it needs to be recharged. its probably low on coolant.
ReeFit
Also check the heat transfer fins for dust and clogs. you want the heat to be pulled away from the coils. if it has a fan in the unit make sure it is working and that it is blowing through clean filters. Gabe
+1 on the fins being clean. If air cannot pass freely through the fins the coil will freeze up. Turn off the chiller, use hot air not tools to remove the ice, confirm there will be adequate air flow. Make sure there is plenty of room around the chiller also. That should fix it. Good luck Gabe
Lowman
My aqualogic works best if you remove the outside cover also
ClayTheSavageFraser
I have done all of it! Cleaned it spotless. I removed to cover and I will not turn no knobs or anything like that. I have learned my lesson on that one with refridgeration. Ok, I'm takin it in. CLay
