Michael7979
I was thinking why are we the only group not to put together a 'meet & greet'? So I am starting this thread to see how many of the Salem/Keizer fish nerds are willing to be part of something like this!?!? Make a post and let me know if you would be interested! Heck you Albany/Corvallis guys could show up too!

steelhead77
Just saw this. I am in. Do you want to meet in my classroom or in Salem? Count me in too. If we have it in Rogers classroom there wouldn't be any beer. (sad) I vote for a good pub or pizza parlor for the meet&greet. (party)

(sad) I vote for a good pub or pizza parlor for the meet&greet. (party) I was thinking along these lines also. Maybe at someones house and we can kick it outside and go 'potluck' or something. I'll do some looking around at places. Places with 'banquet rooms'. Any ideas?

Blindlady
Pietro's had an area for meetings, but hard to hear if there are kids in the game area. Round Table has a 'meeting' room that holds 40-50 with a door to close. No cost on either of these just order Pizza or something.
MarkBirkett
Meet N' Greet I have gone to meetings in Beaverton/Portland and maybe 20 people with family show, so a big room in Salem might look empty. I think more like Happy Hour at the Ram. Just Do It. like Nike.
CCR
Starz has a banquet room (whistle) I hear they have all you can eat fish tacos
MarkBirkett
Salem I do not know about that, but you can drink like a fish there. You can also eat like a pig with the two for one deals.
CCR
Personally I will not sit in a smoky bar. I don't drink anymore either...........well
Michael7979
Personally I will not sit in a smoky bar. I don't drink anymore either...........well No. I don't want to go to a 'dive' bar either. But a Pub or resturant would be OK with me. Keep posting ideas everyone. undrtkr_00
You're going to have trouble finding a smoky bar anywhere in Oregon these days anyway...
Michael7979
Well They is nothing in Keizer that really has any room for the group. Maybe we should use S. Salem as they have more options. And it's closer for the Albany guys. Blindlady have you looked into that room at Guadalajara? Maybe thats not a bad choice. Anyone have any thoughts??????? Mr S
The Great Wall China Buffet has a back room which I don't think they charge for. Can't go wrong with all you can eat Chinese. I know several club members that salivate at the mention of "buffet"
ThePremiumAquarium
(drooler)(drooler)(drooler)(drooler)(drooler) They have a number of choices and not too bad either.
