jgf86123
I have no desire to live there, I'd rather pay sales tax and have no income tax than pay that ridiculous income tax Oregon charges, and the sad thing is, they get nothing done on top of charging and arm and a leg to live there, so sad. jgf86123
I do mean to sound all hippy LOL Eric, things will work out. R-3, you rock jackaninny, government blows major *insert your own term here* and nothing you could ever say could change my mind on that, I'd rather slit my wrists, pour draino down my throat, and castrate myself with a rusty spoon, all while having large amounts of electricity applied through my rectum than listen to anything any politician has to say. other than Dennis Kucinich, he's a hippy, so its ok. grassi
Nike isn't going anywhere.. I worked there for years and still have a lot of friends working there. That being said though, be mindful with jobs at Nike or Intel... they've had their fair share of lay offs in recent years and I have a lot of friends who've lost jobs at both. Not that it's reason to not work there (I loved Nike!), but definitely reason to build a savings while there just in case -Jamie
biomekanic
Well, it's not local but the City of Springfield has a position for $4700 to $5700 a month for a Network Admin. At the worst, you might find you don't qualify for it, at best, that's a nice chunk of change. http://springfieldjobs.projecta.com/EmploymentResponse.asp?Internal=False&JobID=240&SectionID=
