reef165
I was at Bestbuy today and saw this TV.http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+-+50%22+Class+/+1080p+/+600Hz+/+Plasma+HDTV/9293515.p?id=1218076082586&skuId=9293515 Am wondering if any of you have this model and what you thought. The reviews say the pic is outstanding but the speekers are 2nd rate. Thanks, Ed

C0lin
Most tv's these days have bad speakers, which is why you'll need to find at least a decent soundbar/sub combo, or a full on surround sound system. Sometimes you can find combo deals that throw in a surround sound system for cheap or even free.
reef165
I've got the surround sound, I was just wanting to know about the TV, I'll go look at the Fredy's one, but I like the one mentioned above, it's just as thin as the LED ones and I thought it was one until seeing the description below the TV said it was plasma, I still didn't believe till I compared the model # to the TV and it was the same. CA2OR
I used to use a high end computer speaker set for my TV's speaker. My entire neighborhood would complain when I turned them up. Plus they were only $150. And trust me when I say the ground seemed to shake when the base it or explosions were on.
