MadReefer
1-3 degrees is great. 4-6 is getting somewhat bad. Anything over 6 is probably pretty stressful, especially if it happens everyday. I have mine set to about 75 and it goes from 74-76 and I'm really happy with that. In the summer is was 76-79 about.
MarkBirkett
Problems Do you use RO/DI water? If you go to Salem and take a water sample to Coral Reef Pet Center, and have Jason test your water. Take a sample from your tank, and one of your either tap water or if you are using RO take a sample from that. If you use RO water you might need to replace the filters. siskiou
sisk' date=' got any pics? id love to see some pics of this reactor or what not lol im interested in building one for my 30 breeder an if its that cheap to build, it might be well worth it[/quote'] No pics right now, but I'll try to take one tomorrow. There are lots of pics of different models in the thread at RC, and a spare calcium reactor would be perfect, too. It's too bad that thread doesn't have the step by step pics along with the instructions anymore. It was perfect, and very easy to follow! Edited to add: I found a pic that I took right after building it, so here it is:
