Chief
Whats yer favorite beer? At the moment I have been enjoying the Widmer Drifter An open one... (drinking) I'm a big fan of IPA's. One of my favorites is Stone Brewing Ruination IPA. Double IPA is even better. Jay
nnewhouse
Black Butte Porter(rock2) x2 Tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and WOW, what a great beer.(drooler) I also enjoy a brew made in Kansas City called a Boulevard Wheat. You also can't beat a good old Beamish! Ok, so thats three beers but how can you choose just one.
nwcoralfarm
I am a Guinness man but I love me some Boddingtons as well. When I am not eating my beer though I like a few seasonal's, 2 below is one of my fav's since I always get it at Ski Bowl mid run and Snow Cap is tasty as well. There are a few organics out, can't think of their names but wowee great flavor. On a regular occasion I enjoy a nice cold Mac and Jack, just about any Scottish beers so far. Portland and Washington are really the beer lovers dream to live in, with all the micro brewers in the area we get to try all kinds of basement creations and so far I love them all. BJ's has some great beers, their Piranha and Tatanka. I'm getting thirsty!!!

nwcoralfarm
where is a good place to get some of the local micro brews? If you mean like a store then I like to go to whole foods, they have an amazing selection of delicious beers. Other then that I really couldn't be much help cause I don't live in your local area. There are tons of breweries to visit though.
Michael7979
This is a loaded question! No way can I choose just one! So I will just list the ones I have had in the last month or so: 1. Any of the Mac and Jack line. Went to the brewery and they are all great! 2. Ninsaki Tricerahops IPA- not a big IPA fan but its real good. 3. Red Hooks Late Harvest- their fall seaonal. 4. Stone Brewerys Arrogant Bastard- closing in on #1 spot. 5. Widmers Drifter- Nice change of pace. (on a side note sorry to see they no longer make Snow Plow- it was a real favorite, they have lost me as a devoted fan) 6. Bridgeports Ebeneezer Ale- it's OK. 7. McTarnahans HumBug'r- it's just so-so. 8. Pyramids Snow Cap- good winter seasonal. 9. Drop Top by Widmer 10. Mirror Pond by Deshutes But right now I just got ahold of a couple of bottles of Stone Brewerys Double Bastard!!! 10.5% comes in a 22 oz bottle and it is the closest thing to heaven that I have tasted in a long time!!!! If you have tried Arrogant Bastard I think it is just a little more on the bitter side. But boy is it yummy!!!!! Thats all I can think of right now! undrtkr_00
I wonder what this guy's favorite beer is? OK... I see he's a Bud drinker. Wow... that's pretty bad. Black Butte Porter(rock2) x3. Hands down favorite. But then I also like Delirium pretty well. And Broken Halo. And Pyramid Hef. And Blue Moon. And most porters and stouts. IPA's if I'm having a pipe or some spicy food. Down here I have found AB in Fred Meyers, Roths IGA, and Safeways! There is a great little local market that also has it and is where I found the Double Bastard too.!
