USCG CWO
Clay it sounds like Stomatella snails, and they are a good thing. Do they look like this?

CCR
I have some thing that looks like a snail, or pill bug. They are only under rocks or in full shade. Dam things are fast and some are an inch. I don't know what they are but I pull them out when ever i see one. Leathery body.
chewie
Hard to tell from the pic but they look like Stomatella snails. They could also be Chitons, but those are slow moving.
Hoss
I'd resist the urge to pull those out. They're more than likely good for your aquarium.

siskiou
Clay, if you don't want them, I'll take 'em! They sound like stomatellas, and didn't you lose your wrasse recently? The wrasse was probably eating them before, and now they have a chance to survive.
