I'm being pushed to put my 20 year old OM-2 35mm out to pasture and can across this lens from Nikon. fly guy Posted October 11, 2006 Share Posted October 11, 2006 Ive got a nikkor 28-85 that does pretty well. dont know about that one specifically but i think all true nikkor lenses are pretty sweet...... im a camera noob though.......(laugh) i picked up a d100 a while back that came with 2 nikkor lenses...i sold one of them for what i paid for the entire set up and bought a tamron macro...... prolly not much help for you but i have heard nothing but good things about nikkor Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

180Bob Posted October 14, 2006 Author Share Posted October 14, 2006 I just went to a local camera store last night and their camera prices were exactly the same as what I could get online and the lens I was looking at was about $200 less that some of the online places. The only problem was that they didn't have the lens in stock. My experience recently has been that most local places have to compete pricewise with he big online places. Although i will admit there are many advantages to buying from a small individual dealers such as knowledge of the product and help if any problems arise with your purchase.
