finch6013
meh, would have looked better if it was a 75g. Just kidding Eric, looks great. Congrats on the new tank
kilmca
Looking good, what equipment you have running on the tank?
CA2OR
I brought my fluval 403 over from the old tank, a Turbo Twist UV sterililzer. Some crazy big skimmer (you would have to ask Steelhead), a quiet one 4000 return pump and a korellia 1. I am looking to add a flow accelerator and a korellia 4. I am not using the T5 fixture, although it is quite nice. 4x56w T5's with 8 dimmable LED's. Instead I dropped my 250w HQI MH with 2x96w actinic's over it. CA2OR
So do you guys have the same thought I do? After looking at how many corals I have in the 72 it made me realize that my 36g was WAY overstocked. It almost seems like my 72 is over stocked with corals. finch6013
There are too many Brandons on this site. I thought you were talking to me for some reason. How confusing!
COReefer
it's about time you got a bigger tank eric
Ryan
Looks good Eric! Its a nice step up from your 36g. You should keep an eye out for some bigger pieces of rock and do some more aquascaping. I have always thought aquascaping similar to my 36g bow would look 10x better in a 72! Also, may I ask why your using a canister filter if you have a sump?
CA2OR
It runs carbon and also fuels the UV sterilizer.
CA2OR
Duncan's seem happy today. According to Snowpunk's count I am at 72 heads. And I think I found a safe cut point to get 15 or so off.
snowpunk
That is the only time I have ever seen them closed up enough to get a true count. Kinda neat to see them all small and tiny when they finally closed up like that. Normally they seem like they are on roids!!!
